Saltstraumen, rafting, caves, and mountain walks

A stay at Skagen Gaard allows for powerful experiences of nature and exciting activities. The natural phenomenon of Saltstraumen must be seen. Saltstraumen is the world’s most powerful tidal current. The area around Skagen Gaard is well suited for walks, both in the forest and on the mountain. The more adventurous can test their strength on cave expeditions, climbing, and abseiling (rappelling), as well as dog sledding during the winter. Treks on the glacier Svartisbreen take place during the summer.
